VCForge.net is owned by VCForge,Org.
VCForge is an open source web site hosting Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0 projects. We provides free hosting to Open Source development projects. All of these is available for download and free use under an Open Source license.
We want to build a centralized web resource for managing projects, issures, communications and codes. Become a large, intelligent repository of Visual C++ 6.0 source code on the Internet, At this time, We provides a rich variety of services(see our sevice listing) to projects we host.

Service Listing

Files Release System: Providing Source Code and Documents for download. When files are posted through the File Release System, they are automatically placed on our group of download servers. File releases should include the following, at minimum:

Program's Source code, resources.
License terms
A README file or other similar instructions

File releases should NOT include the following:

Program's binary release
Program's related binary files
Unrelated files

Subversion Service: Version Control for Source Code. VCForge provides Subversion(SVN) service to projects, allowing them to centrally store the source code to the software they are developing. This subversion space allows easy access both for developers and end-users. for every login-user, has(not requisite) at most one owned repository for all his projects. Every SVN space(called repository) allows free READONLY access for all users, witch may retrieve the very latest source code from SVN. and verified WRITABLE access for developers, witch are able to post their changes back to the source code stored in SVN. SVN helps to prevent developers from overwriting changes made by other developers, also keeps track of each change made to the source code, including author of the change.
Tracker Report: Trackers are web-based resources that allow the easy management of Bug Reports, Support Requests, Feature Requests, and user-submitted source code Patches. Similar trackers will list pre-post, so users can locate information on prior resolutions of the problem they are trying to solve.
Publicity: VCForge provides following ways to increase the visibility of your project:

Project-provided descriptions are keyword searchable.
Project-provided category as filter criteria on the Project Main Page's Project Categories
Projects may post screenshots of their software(logo is an acceptable alternative), allowing users to see how refined the software is, and its basic interface, without first downloading package or checkout source code.
